Freed Creativity




Daniel Freed and Ian Baber make up Freed Creativity, a tinker/hacker shop developing cool new products. If you want a small/medium scale run of engraved, glass, metal, marble, or cut acrylic and wood, these are your guys. My brother (Ian) has been developing modular glue-less storage and shelving units. 

So I have been playing a lot of Warframe recently. The symbol engraved here is the symbol representing the Female A.I. that chats you up and tells you all about how she is detecting ice. Anyway it looks super dope on a wine glass. I was happy about it.

Invading the Elemental Plane of Fire

So the Elemental planes have been locked in combat for ages. For the climax of an upcoming campaign, I need to figure out how Water would invade Fire. Lets do the math. The Gate spell says it can link two portals across planes and can be anywhere from 5 to 20 ft in diameter. 20ft is 6096mm. The pressure of the elemental plane of water is no greater than "being under a few feet of water" so lets say, ten. Pressure under 10ft of water is 0.298907. The gate spell also states "Deities and other planar rulers can prevent portals created by this spell from opening in their presence or anywhere within their domains." So, rather than cast the spell into the Palace, water forces would have to highjack some of the "Gate" spells around the edge of the city.  Roughly 14 million liters per minute!   Quarantine Alpha Evocation Get a piece of the biggest psychic mushroom’s brain to try and obfuscate thought energy. Caves that wrap around the surface of an immobile asteroid. Myconids Setting: A lavender asteroid coated in a deep orange fungal growth. The asteroid is stationary relative to the solar system. It is close enough to the sun that it should have fallen into the sun a long time ago. Deep craters intersect a network of tunnels beneath the surface and serve as massive skylights and windows out to the blackness of space. The spherical nature of the asteroid is represented by an unwrapped icosahedron with a hexagonal grid. Each face is a triangle, and has three tunnels off to adjacent rooms. The party teleports into the largest cave that perforates this asteroid. A five foot hollow brass sphere carved with swirling patterns lays motionless in a cradle made of carved stone and metal plates. D&D Encounter - Gelatinous Cube Assault Vehicles

"Here they come." The sound was like a pot of stew the size of a lake boiling over. Ten gelatinous cubes crested the hill and began sliding down towards the castle wall. Volleys of arrows sink slowly through the oozes... past dark forms inside. Suddenly four black Wyrmlings dive out the side flying up the walls with ease and plucking archers from their posts.  The idea here is to put enemies who are immune to acid , inside gelatinous cubes. You could do this with merfolk inside of water elementals similarly as well. OOoooooooh I gotta go write that.
