  This world was built with an amazing group of kids at community centers. These thoughts and ideas were first committed to paper in 2024, and remain relevant.  The kids know what is going on. Oroborealis Our world is Dust, Ice, and Fire. There are two lights in the sky. Stories say there were more, once. Thousands and thousands. Like a sparkle of snow across a deep dark lake. It’d be a nice story, if it were true.  Oroborealis is a world of extremes. Extreme heat and cold, rich and poor, high and low tech, old and young, living and dead. This is clockwork-necropolis setting, designed to accommodate tactical urban combat, deep roleplay, and philosophical discussions.   I stared at the four cards. A "moving forward" spread. The first card represents the issue at hand The second represents the impediments in your way. After that, the third is what is motivating you to do something, and the fourth indicates what will help you achieve success. Fate couldn’t have dealt me cards that perfectly describes my situation, and yet here they were. Maybe my life is complicated enough that I could have applied these cards to several portions of my life. Yet, it’s hard not to believe in magic when it's sitting right in front of you.   Quarantine Alpha Evocation Get a piece of the biggest psychic mushroom’s brain to try and obfuscate thought energy. Caves that wrap around the surface of an immobile asteroid. Myconids Setting: A lavender asteroid coated in a deep orange fungal growth. The asteroid is stationary relative to the solar system. It is close enough to the sun that it should have fallen into the sun a long time ago. Deep craters intersect a network of tunnels beneath the surface and serve as massive skylights and windows out to the blackness of space. The spherical nature of the asteroid is represented by an unwrapped icosahedron with a hexagonal grid. Each face is a triangle, and has three tunnels off to adjacent rooms. The party teleports into the largest cave that perforates this asteroid. A five foot hollow brass sphere carved with swirling patterns lays motionless in a cradle made of carved stone and metal plates.
