"This shit is gonna be Inception, except backwards like Memento."

You shouldn't do that.

Almost as if they think your choice is unconscious. "Oh god! How did this smokeable get lit and in between my fingers!" It may be a conscious clearing ticket to punch. In no other circumstance is it socially acceptable to look someone in the face and tell them that the choice they made is wrong. I only hear it once per person. Their name has been cleared. What am I, a guilt factory? "Maybe if I had told that smoker that smoking is bad, they would have stopped." Who thinks that? Update from the future: I used to smoke unfiltered hand rolled cigarettes in college. I was living with my dad, and it was a useful outlet. I slowed down, switched to vaping for years. (douche-flute, light-saber, robot dong, etc) (before it was cool) Since my partner had to quit, I quit in solidarity. It's hard. And you need to be able to self examine in order not to be a huge jerk. You have to be able to ascribe your clenched jaw to a chemical dependency, and not blame other people fo...

Quotes

Lenin and Stalin had similar ideals, but different executions. Kids are like going out to eat. You get a steaming thing brought to your table, then are slapped with the huge check. No way can you handle the whole thing there, so you take it home. Then it lives in the fridge and starts to grow fuzz and smell bad so you throw it out.

Adrenaline making the image clear as I drive, I want to blur the green lights ahead of me into brush strokes. But what I see is constantly in a state of "Just Then," and then gone. I once wrote that pillows seem softer when you are drunk. Now I think that is because you don't remember lying down.

ADHD - The other side.

I have heard that the number of kids being diagnosed with ADHD has been increasing. Now I'm no scientist, (perhaps of the severely agitated kind but no other) but I'm not sure if It's the kids. Throw yourself back in time. Imagine sitting in a chair. Thick oak stretches out to the horizon, littered with paper. Friends live four miles away at the least. This is your world. Books your only escape. Think of the focus and commitment towards your imagined realities. Dictionaries become tomes of meaning, able to unlock hundreds of thousands of worlds. But while you were reading this blog, your cell phone buzzes and plays the "Dean scream" to notify you of an incoming text. ( Dean's Scream ) Notifications in the lower right corner of your LCD screen alert you to the new messages in all your chat applications. The televisions low hum, drowned by the constant bombardment of advertisements and terrible programming. Why would you spend the time to peer through your imagi...
